Terms of use
The agreement between you and Emaan Track when you use the app or this site. Last updated 10 October 2026.
In short
- Emaan Track helps you keep your prayers by covering your screen at prayer time. You decide how it behaves, and a phone can always place an emergency call.
- Prayer times are calculated and can differ from your mosque by a few minutes. Check them against a local source you trust.
- The Free plan costs nothing. Premium is paid, through the store or checkout you buy it in.
- By using the app or this site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use them.
Using Emaan Track
You may use the app and this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not use them to break the law, try to get into other people’s accounts or our servers, copy or resell the app, or get around the limits of your plan.
You need to be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Emaan Track is not directed at children under 13.
Your account
An account is optional and keeps your devices in step. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done with it. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings › Account, or on the Delete account page.
What the app does, and its limits
- Prayer times and the Qiblah are worked out on your device from the city and method you choose. They are estimates: they can differ from your mosque’s timetable, and the compass can be thrown off by metal or magnets nearby.
- The prayer screen covers your device for the time you set. It is a help you chose, not a guarantee: what it can block depends on your device, its system version and the permissions you give.
- Emergencies. On a phone, an emergency call is always possible from the prayer screen, and on every device the screen releases by itself after its maximum time. Do not rely on Emaan Track where being unable to use your device for a few minutes could put anyone in danger, such as while driving, on call for work, or caring for someone.
- Religious content. The app offers reminders and texts in good faith. It does not give religious rulings: for those, ask a scholar you trust.
Premium and payments
- Premium Annual is a subscription for one year. It renews each year at the price shown when you buy, until you cancel. Cancel at least a day before it renews, in the store you bought it in: Google Play, the App Store, or the link in your receipt for purchases on this site.
- Premium Lifetime is paid once and does not renew.
- Support payments are voluntary gifts to the project. They unlock nothing.
- Who takes the payment. Google Play and the App Store handle purchases in the app under their own terms. Purchases on this site are handled by our payment provider (Paddle or Stripe), which may be the seller of record and sends your receipt.
- Refunds. Ask the store or provider you paid: their refund rules apply, together with any rights the law gives you where you live. If something went wrong and they cannot help, write to us.
- Prices can change. A change to a subscription’s price applies from a later renewal, and you are told beforehand.
When Premium ends, the app goes back to the Free plan. Your settings and history are not deleted.
Changes to the app
We may add, change or remove features, and what each plan includes may change for new purchases. If we ever have to stop running Emaan Track, we will say so in advance on this site, and the app’s offline features will keep working on your device for as long as your system runs them.
Ownership
The app, its design and its name belong to Emaan Track. The fonts, the Quran text and other material from third parties are used under their own licences. What you write to us as feedback, we may use to improve the app.
No warranty
Emaan Track is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors, that it will run without interruption, or that prayer times and directions will be exact.
Our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a device being covered or locked during a prayer session, by a missed or mistimed prayer alert, or by services we do not control. Where we are liable, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Emaan Track and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
Privacy
What we know about you and why is set out in the Privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, this page and the date at the top change with it. If a change matters to you, we will say so in the app. Using Emaan Track after a change means you accept it.
